Tel Aviv’s response to Jordan’s favors; The water quota will be cut off! – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Quds al-Arabi, Jordanian media reports indicate that the government of this country has received a warning from the Zionist regime that Tel Aviv does not intend to deliver the agreed annual water quota of nearly 50 million cubic meters to Jordan.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned agreement is one of the fixed clauses of the peace treaty and its amendments signed in 1994 between the Zionist regime and Jordan.
The Jordanian media emphasized that the Zionist regime is making excuses by making claims about technical problems in the water desalination process and the costs of transferring it to Jordan in this direction, and that the negotiations between the two sides with the mediation of the Europeans have not been fruitful.
It should be noted that the country of Jordan is facing a wave of severe drought and the country’s negotiations with Syria to reuse the water source of Elirmuk are still inconclusive.
At the same time, the country of Jordan has fully cooperated with the Zionist regime in all political, security, intelligence, etc. fields, and the peak of these services was shown in the 12-day war and the neutralization of a number of missile and drone attacks against the occupied territories.
In addition, the Zionist regime, which is facing the problem of water shortage, had previously claimed that it could intervene in this issue with a screwball version for Iran! Meanwhile, it does not even deliver the water quota agreed with Jordan to this country.
