Appreciation of 77 researchers and technologists at Tehran University Research Week Festival – RCO News Agency

According to the Mehr reporter, Manouchehr Moradi Sabzevar, in the press conference of the 34th Research and Technology Festival of Tehran University, which was held today, Wednesday, December 19, 1404, stated that the research week is a symbol of the university’s research activities in the past year, and said: We intend to pay special attention to the connection with the industry and the publication of high-quality articles by seriously investing in research.

He emphasized the importance of investing in the field of research, pointing out that the majority of the university’s budget is spent on the daily affairs of the university.

Moradi Sabzevar also emphasized the support of human resources and said: There are countries that promote themselves globally without having natural resources and only with scientists.

Mohammad Reza Naqvi, Director General of Research at Tehran University, stated in the continuation of this meeting: 77 selected ones will be honored at the festival on Sunday, December 23. The awardees in different sections include veteran researchers (3 people), exemplary researchers (13 people), outstanding researchers (8 people), exemplary young researchers (7 people), community and industry liaison executives (10 people), and technology awardees (including 7 people from companies the technologistnuclei the technologist and teachers the technologist) are introduced.

He added: Also, 17 selected doctoral and master theses will be presented and the research director, library and sample laboratory will be honored. In the book festival of the year, 10 books will be honored, one of which is in English.

44% increase in Tehran University’s society and industry contracts

In the continuation of the meeting, Alireza Badiei, director of relations with the society and industry of Tehran University, said, referring to the number of contracts of this university: the number of contracts with the society and industry of Tehran University has increased by 44%.

Regarding the ongoing contracts of this university, he said: 600 projects are in progress. Also, the financial value of these contracts from 1400 to 1404 has reached about 650 billion tomans, which is expected to increase based on the request of the president, so that the role of the university in the society becomes stronger.

According to this official; Industrial study opportunities are expanding in Tehran University. This issue allows professors to familiarize themselves with the problems of the industry. So far, we have had several meetings with the industries to justify them how they can use the tax credit. Industrial post-doctorate is also on the agenda of the university.
