American drone Lucas; A clumsy copy of Shahid, without a warhead!
The American media wrote that the US drone project in West Asia is facing some equipme challenges.

In its report about these suicide drones, the American publication poied out that they were modeled on Iran’s “Shahid” drones, which are also allegedly used by Russia, but their American version is made of cheaper parts.
Forbes reported that the Peagon plans to use the drones for large-scale, mass strikes similar to those used by Russia, allowing the United States to respond to what it says are threats from Iran and other adversaries.

However, Forbes we on to clarify that the drones provided by Cecom do not yet have warheads and are still only being tested with dummy payloads.
A US military report also clearly states that the warhead for the Lucas system has not yet been developed and that its production is only in the planning stage.
According to this report, tests are being conducted at the Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona, but so far no actual attack on the target or evaluation of its explosive capabilities has been conducted.
According to Forbes, the technical data shows that the Lucas is closer to the smaller and less powerful Shahid-131 than the more powerful Shahid-136, which is said to have dominated Russian attacks.
The American media further poied out that even if the mass production of Lucas drones begins, its impact power will be less and its range will be shorter than similar Russian or Iranian examples.
Under the plan, the United States may acquire about 850 of these drones, a small number compared to the 5,400 that Russia launched last moh.
And while US drones still need mass production, suitable warheads and further improvemes to carry out real offensive missions.
Forbes also emphasized in its report that the United States is taking an importa step toward building its drone capability for large-scale attack, but that the Scorpion so far looks more like a demonstration model than a fully operational combat system.
