
According to RCO News Agency, citing the Vice Preside for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy of the Presidency, with the efforts of the Technology Exchange Office of the Organization for the Developme of Scieific Cooperation and technologically Iernational, the second day of the seveh meeting of the working group of research infrastructures and scieific megaprojects of the member couries brix (BRICS) was held in Parsian Azadi Hotel with the presence of members in person and online.
In coinuation of yesterday’s meetings, the couries willing to prese their proposals to expand cooperation technologically and conducted research with the members of this group.
During this meeting, the Islamic Republic of Iran put forward a series of key proposals that focused on the developme of common scieific infrastructure.
The most importa axes proposed by Iran included cooperation in large-scale research projects. Iran announced its readiness to cooperate in major infrastructure projects such as the developme of synchrotrons (particle accelerators) and also emphasized cooperation in the field of Iran’s National Observatory.
Another importa proposal of Iran is to join and connect the laboratory network of the coury to the laboratory network of the member couries brix was to facilitate mutual access to advanced equipme and expertise.
In this regard, the represeatives of Brazil and South Africa also made proposals in the field of joi cooperation in the field of physics laboratories Stormy (Astroparticle Physics) preseed.
In the final part, the participas of this meeting will visit the National Brain Ceer of Iran in order to be closely informed about the achievemes of this ceer.
