The meeting of representatives of Iran and Russia on the affairs of the Caspian Sea
A bilateral meeting of special representatives of Iran and Russia on Caspian Sea affairs was held.
According to RCO News Agency, the meeting of the special representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation on Caspian Sea affairs was held on Tuesday, December 18, 1404, in the presence of Kazem Gharibabadi, the deputy of legal and international affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the special representative of our country in the Caspian Sea affairs, and “Nikolai Odovichenko”, the special representative of Russia in this field, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In this meeting, the parties exchanged views on the latest developments related to the Caspian Sea, including necessary arrangements for holding the 7th summit of Caspian littoral countries in Tehran in August 1405, environmental issues including the reduction of the water level of the Caspian Sea, and ways to develop economic and commercial cooperation in the Caspian Basin.
This meeting was held in order to strengthen bilateral and multilateral interactions and within the framework of the cooperation of the coastal countries of the Caspian Sea.
