Referring to the other mission of this working group, Hashemi stated: One of the importa tasks of this group is to create a digital platform called BRICS-GRAIN. In this platform, information on research infrastructures of member couries in five fields of energy, nanotechnology, biology, fundameal physics and astronomy is preseed. The main purpose of this platform is to facilitate the exchange of data and ideas and to create a basis for scieific cooperation among member couries.
The Director of Iernational Affairs of the Developme and Progress Cooperation Ceer coinued: The Islamic Republic of Iran is hosting this two-day meeting, which will be held from December 17 to 19, 1404 (equivale to December 8 to 10, 2025) at the Azadi Hotel in Tehran. The meeting focuses on three main axes: developme of research collaborations between members; brixhelping to launch and finance research projects, and promoting research infrastructure as an engine of innovation, sustainable developme and scieific diplomacy.
Explaining the way of holding the meeting, he said: This program is organized by the manageme of the presideial developme and cooperation ceer and with the support of the vice preside of science, technology and knowledge-based economy. The meeting will be held in a combined form (face-to-face and online). In the face-to-face part, represeatives from Russia, South Africa, and Brazil are prese in Tehran, and other couries, including China, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and the UAE, participate online.
