Netanyahu: An independent Palestinian state will not be established next to Israel
In a joint press conference with the Chancellor of Germany, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, while repeating the claims about Iran’s regional role, once again called the genocide in Gaza a “fake” accusation and reiterated his opposition to the “2-state” solution supported by European countries to form an independent Palestinian state.
According to RCO News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Mertes in the occupied territories that his talks with Mertes have always been frank despite differences and commonalities. Post-Holocaust generations have come to understand that they have a moral obligation to Israel and the Jewish people to heal and restore. “Germany has been committed to Israel’s security.”
Emphasizing that Germany and the Zionist regime are working to defend each other, Netanyahu said: “We discussed the continuation of this defense cooperation in a changing and unstable world. It’s not just a matter of military cooperation, we also discussed cooperation in the field of technology as two advanced global economies.”
Implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement and the imminent meeting with Trump
By saying that this defense cooperation will help to establish peace in the world, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime repeated his claims about the connection between the activities of the resistance groups in the region and Iran and said: “We are in a position where we think there is an opportunity for peace. Iran’s axis is broken, which was the main engine of intervention, terrorism, extremism, bigotry, and now it has degraded. Now is the opportunity for peace and we will take advantage of it. I am going to discuss this with President Trump in my upcoming meeting with him this month. We (Netanyahu and Mertes) also talked about this.”
Referring to his regional consultations with Mertes, Netanyahu said: “We also talked about ending the rule of Hamas over Gaza, because the main part of the discussions is about the future of Gaza and for us.”
The Prime Minister of the Zionist regime went on to say that the first phase of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas is almost completed and only one Israeli prisoner remains to be returned to the occupied territories. He said that the parties are expected to enter the second phase in a short time, which is more difficult.
He pointed to the third stage in the process of this agreement and called it “clearing Gaza of extremism” and while saying that this is not impossible, he considered it necessary to “dissolve Hamas”.

Repeating the claim against Iran’s role in the region
Netanyahu continued to make a claim against Iran and said: “We fought on 7 fronts with destructive forces led by Iran and who are clearly committed to our destruction. “Eight decades after the Holocaust, the clear intention to destroy this Jewish state is announced.”
Netanyahu’s claim is raised while Iran has repeatedly rejected it and said that the resistance groups in the region act independently and according to their own discretion.
The Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, who has been accused in the International Criminal Court of committing genocide and war crimes in Gaza and has been ordered to be arrested, claimed: “We gathered ourselves in the face of these resources and waged a fair war with fair means.”
Disagreement with Berlin over the “2-state” solution
He went on to say that the Zionist regime and Germany disagree on the “2-state solution” issue, stating that the reason for this disagreement is that “the goal of a Palestinian state is the destruction of the only Jewish state.”
Netanyahu added: “They already had a de facto state in Gaza and it was used to destroy the only Jewish state. We believe that there is a path to a broader peace with the Arab states, as well as a path to a workable peace with our Palestinian neighbors. But we are not going to create a country next to us that is committed to our destruction.”

Annexation of the West Bank
In response to a journalist’s question about whether he would guarantee such a thing in view of Mertes’ request to him to refrain from taking measures in line with the annexation of the West Bank, the Israeli Prime Minister said without referring to the violent actions of the Zionist military and settlers in the West Bank: “In fact, there has been no change in the status quo. Israel today controls the security of the Jordan River and the sea. This is the reason why we do not see terrorism in the West Bank. It has nothing to do with political affiliation. This matter is under discussion.
By saying that the goal of the Palestinian Authority is not to establish a Palestinian state next to the occupied territories, but instead, Netanyahu expressed doubt that the Ramallah government would change its position.
The Prime Minister of the Zionist regime once again called the accusations against him in the International Criminal Court of committing genocide and war crimes as “fake and ridiculous” and said that “Karim Khan”, the former prosecutor of this international court, was not competent to investigate this case because he was accused of “sexually harassing” the employees of this institution.
