Telephone conversation between Erdogan and Maduro

Sources of the Turkish presidency reported the phone call between the preside of this coury and the preside of Venezuela.
According to Isna, Turkish Preside Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a phone conversation with Venezuelan Preside Nicolas Maduro on Saturday, and while emphasizing the importance of maiaining free dialogue channels between the United States and Venezuela, he expressed hope for the reduction of tensions between the two couries.
According to the report of the News media “Turkeytoday”, sources from the Turkish presidency announced that the conversation included bilateral relations between Türkiye and Venezuela, as well as regional issues.
Erdogan’s call with Maduro comes amid ongoing tensions between Caracas and Washington.
Despite minimal ieraction in the decades since diplomatic relations were established in 1950, Türkiye and Venezuela have forged closer ties since 2016.
Tensions between Washington and Caracas have escalated in rece mohs, and the United States has carried out numerous military and security operations in the Caribbean and around Venezuela.
Earlier, Western media reported citing people who were involved in the negotiations of the US Preside Donald Trump’s administration regarding a possible attack on Venezuela: “The primary targets could be drug-related facilities, including production or storage facilities used by Colombian cartels that transport cocaine through Venezuela.”
