Orban: The European Union will start a war with Russia by 2030
The Prime Minister of Hungary warned that EU leaders are preparing for war with Russia by 2030, but Hungary will prevent such an event.
According to Isna, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Saturday evening: “The threat of war is not only geographical, but also political.”
According to the report of “Hungarian Daily News“, Orban further emphasized: “European leaders have already decided that this continent should prepare for conflict and the European Union expects to be ready for a possible confrontation with Russia by 2030.”
He added: “It is not a coincidence that we hold anti-war demonstrations and at the same time ask Hungarians to Learn from history and strengthen the nation economically and morally.”
The Hungarian Prime Minister also commented on the current sanctions against Russia: “I hope that the upcoming agreement between the United States and Russia will finally be able to bring Moscow back into the global economy and lift the existing restrictions.”
Viktor Orbán further argued: “That is why the Hungarian government maintains its connection with Washington and Moscow.”
Referring to the upcoming elections in his country and stating that a pro-Brussels government will lead Hungary to war, he stated: “The elected government in 2026 will be responsible for protecting the country and saving Hungary from the danger of war, which is likely to approach us. “I highlight this election as a pivotal decision point.”
Unlike many EU member states, Hungary has rejected sending any lethal weapons to Ukraine and is focused on a peaceful solution to the war.
This country has also repeatedly criticized the European Union’s sanctions against Russia, and its prime minister has described the said sanctions and restrictions as a “failure” that only worsens the energy crisis.
