According to Mehr news agency, according to the official reports published by the army of the occupation regime of Israel, the number of suicides among the soldiers of this regime has faced a significa growth since the beginning of the “genocide war” in Gaza on October 7, 2023.
According to the Palestine Information Ceer, this increase was reported due to the increasing psychological pressure caused by the conflicts.
According to these data, from October 7 to the end of 2023, 7 soldiers in active service have committed suicide. During 2024, 21 cases of suicide among Zionist soldiers have been recorded.
Also, from the beginning of 2025 uil today, at least 20 other soldiers have committed suicide.
This statistic shows that before the start of the war, the annual average of suicides among the soldiers of the Israeli regime was about 12 cases. According to curre figures, the suicide rate has almost doubled during this period.
