According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Manar, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, said during a ceremony to commemorate martyred scholars on the way to Quds: We have gathered to show loyalty to the martyred scholars.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah emphasized that this ceremony is to protect the path for which scholars and clerics fought with their lives, wealth and all their strength.

He said that this event is a “ceremony full of the blood of martyrs and the pen of Mujahideen” and its purpose is to recognize the path that has changed the life of the nation.

Referring to the martyrs of the clergy and students, Qasim said: the number of martyred clerics was 15, 41 students were martyred, and 39 were martyrs related to the families of the clergy.

He clarified: We should mention two precious scholars, martyrs Seyyed Abbas Al-Mousavi and Sheikh Ragheb as pioneers in this way. Jihad is the basic pillar in the Islamic school on which we were raised. We are in spiritual jihad and military jihad. Scholars were pioneers.

He called Jihad “the foundation of the Islamic educational system” and said that Hezbollah is involved in “self-Jihad” and “military Jihad” at the same time. A jihad that the scholars themselves have pioneered and their children have also been in the front ranks. Scholars were able to establish authenticity, dignity and decent life. Many in Lebanon and abroad were amazed at how Hezbollah was able to chart its course. They were surprised by the people’s support for Hezbollah because there was an authentic, honest and sincere experience. As Hezbollah, we tried to preserve the principles of Islam, we worked on Jihad and high morals, and we believed in one word. This support is the result of an honest and loyal experience.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah of Lebanon said: We were brought up to love our country. They want to confront the resistance because it raised the national project, independence, dignity and ethics. They don’t want us to live like this. Hezbollah has succeeded in presenting an advanced and dynamic model, and for this reason, Istabkar seeks to destroy Hezbollah.

He further mentioned Hezbollah’s political cooperation and said that in 2006, this movement was able to establish a strategic relationship with one of the most important Christian currents, the “Free National Movement” and provide a new example of political participation; An experience that, according to him, has angered the arrogant.

Qassem also criticized the attacks of some currents for sending Hezbollah’s statement to the Pope and said that these objections were caused by the influence of the message; They tried to distort the image, but they will never succeed.

Secretary General of Hezbollah addressed the families of the martyrs, the resistance and the people and said: Accept the pledge of continuity from me, the pledge of stability and victory from the Mujahideen, and the pledge of stability and honor from the people.

Sheikh Naeem Qasim stated: Hezbollah has not been isolated during its experience; He has always been cooperative and open-minded and has set a pioneering example, and this has angered the arrogant powers.

Referring to the movements against the resistance and the popular base of the resistance, he said: Who wants to tarnish the face of the people who are full of strength, spirit, patriotism and desire to reach a high position and who have sacrificed their blood for their country?

The Secretary General of Hezbollah of Lebanon pointed out that the conspiracies and movements against Hezbollah strengthen the will of the resistance and will not lead anywhere, he emphasized the cooperation of Hezbollah to build Lebanon and liberate the occupied lands of Lebanon and said: Our history is proof of this.

Sheikh Naeem Qasim also pointed to the recent media and political attacks and said: “Who are trying to distort the image of a nation that has strength, spirituality, patriotism and a firm will to preserve its dignity?” People who defended their land with a resistance full of sacrifice and bloodshed.”

He emphasized: “All these media attacks will ultimately be ineffective, and these pressures will make us stronger, because we are a congregation that believes in God and has been raised under the supervision of true scholars.”

Referring to the natural existence of political differences in every country, Sheikh Qasim said: “The main issue is how to settle these differences. This process should be in accordance with the constitution and laws of the country and be placed in a framework that aims to improve the state of the government and the structure of the country.”

He added: “Hizbollah interacts with all forces on the path of cooperation for “building the state and liberating the land” and its track record speaks for this approach. We do not wait for guarantees from anyone and we do not give guarantees to anyone.

Sheikh Qasim, without directly referring to a specific trend, pointed out to some political groups that “instead of accusing others, they need to clean up their past full of mistakes and their heavy record in the civil war.”

The Secretary General of Hezbollah also considered the parliamentary elections as a clear criterion for judging public opinion and said that these elections reveal the “real verdict” about the political weight of currents.

Referring to the aggressions of the Zionist regime against Lebanon, he said: “This enemy is expansionist and does not adhere to the agreement, and its attacks are permanent, and it is not for Hezbollah’s weapons, but it seeks the gradual occupation of Lebanon and the creation of a great Israel through the gates of Lebanon.”

Sheikh Naim Qassem continued: The weapons and defense strategy and the differences of the Lebanese have nothing to do with America. The problems of the Lebanese are related to themselves. Should we believe that the story is only disarmament and this will solve the situation in Lebanon? They seek to destroy us. They seek to disarm, dry up financial resources, prevent services, close schools and hospitals, prevent reconstruction and destroy homes.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah of Lebanon stated: We are on the promise and we will be the trustees of the blood of the martyrs and there will be no retreat. We will be with our people and our martyrs. We will remain proud and steadfast and will not give up. We will defend ourselves, our people and our country. We are ready to give our all and we will never give up. Washington and Tel Aviv want to destroy us, but it is clear that we will defend ourselves and our country and we will not surrender and we will not retreat. We will not care about Israel and America and their proxies. No one in the world can stop us from our defense.

Sheikh Naeem Qassem further stated: The limits of our relations as the Lebanese government with the Israeli enemy are the same as those defined by the agreements. There is no such thing as a region after the south of Litani, and other issues are internal issues among the Lebanese.

He added: No one in the world can take our defense power. This is a finished matter and let the losers try other ways. We will not care about the servants of “Israel” and we will pay attention to the citizens and those who have an ear and we will discuss and cooperate within the framework of a country, within the framework of a defense strategy that we agree on. We are willing to talk and cooperate in the framework of a single country and in the framework of the agreed national defense strategy, and this is the only framework that is open to us.

Sheikh Naeem Qasim stated: We, as Hezbollah, have done our duty and allowed the government to exercise its sovereignty within the framework of the agreement. Rest assured, when we are united, there is nothing they can do.

The Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah considered any interaction with the Zionist regime to be a mistake and added: This action is another mistake that is added to the mistake of August 5th.

Sheikh Naeem Qassem emphasized: We will be with our people and we will stay with the wounded – these myths of sacrifice. We will keep the oath and trust of the martyrs and we will never back down.

He added: Israel wants to say that it wants you to be under fire. The civilian delegation went and met and the pressure and aggression increased. You gave free points and the position of the enemy did not change and his attacks did not stop. The participation of the civil delegation in the committee is a wrong mechanism because the condition and principle was to stop the attacks from the enemy. Aligning with Israel is like drilling a hole in a ship, then everyone will sink.
