Observation of mysterious drones on the flight path of Zelensky’s plane to Ireland
The Irish media reported the flight of mysterious drones on the flight path of the plane of the president of Ukraine to Dublin.
According to Isna, Irish local media reported that a naval ship of this country has seen up to five drones near the flight path of the plane carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky when he arrived in Dublin on December 1.
According to a Reuters report, the incident prompted a widespread security alert, while informed sources have emphasized that the plane was not in danger and landed slightly ahead of schedule.
The Ukrainian delegation arrived in Ireland on the evening of December 1st and left the country the next day as part of a European trip to gain more support against the continuation of the war with Russia.
Unidentified drone flights have repeatedly disrupted European air operations in recent weeks. Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, has described these measures as “hybrid warfare”.
The Journal website, which first reported the sighting of the drones at Dublin Airport, reported that these birds arrived at the exact moment that Zelensky’s plane was about to pass. Investigations are underway to determine whether the drones were launched from land or from an unidentified vessel.
According to the media, the drones were first spotted in the northeast of Dublin, about 20 kilometers from the airport.
Irish security forces declined to provide details for reasons of operational security, but said in a statement that the necessary support for security operations under the direction of the National Police was fully implemented and the visit of the Ukrainian president ended successfully and safely.
