The head of the Research Institute of Earth Sciences announced the developme of the laboratory departme of this research institute for climate change studies and investigation of sedimeary cores.
According to RCO News Agency, Referring to the public relations of the Geological and Mineral Exploration Organization of the coury, Dr. Razie Lak, referring to the implemeation of renovation and improveme projects in the Research Institute of Earth Sciences, stated: With the support of the Geological Organization and the Ministry of Peace, in less than five mohs, we will impleme a wide package of construction plans, renovation and improveme of research services in our ceral building. The definition of these plans is done with the aim of increasing energy efficiency, improving research standards, improving accessibility and providing a suitable platform for research and developme.
The head of the Research Institute of Earth Sciences considered the simultaneous implemeation of this amou of construction and equipme projects to show the serious determination of the research institute in the direction of improving the general indicators and tasks set in the 7th developme plan of the coury and coinued: This project was with the approach of increasing the efficiency of research infrastructures and reducing energy consumption. In this regard, the construction of a 45 kW solar power pla in line with the law of the 7th plan is one of the projects of this research institute.
Lek explained in this regard: the 45 kW solar power pla, in addition to providing the electricity required by the research institute, also transfers the excess energy produced to the national grid. This action is a practical step in line with the implemeation of Article 46 of the Law of the Seveh Developme Plan and reducing dependence on the national electricity grid.
He meioned the specialized laboratory of geosciences as one of the other projects of this research institute and coinued: The existing laboratory was previously used for experimeal tectonics, now it has been developed and equipped for climate change studies and sedimeary cores. This laboratory upgrade significaly increases research capacity with laboratory research and developme.
