The amount of inflow into the country’s reservoirs from the beginning of the water year (the beginning of October) to the eighth of December was equal to 2.33 billion cubic meters, which compared to last year, which was equal to 3.78 billion cubic meters, has decreased by 38%.

Also, the total output of the country’s dams has decreased by 24% compared to the previous year. The volume of water in the reservoirs is now 16.72 billion cubic meters, which has decreased by 26% compared to the previous year, which was 22.71 billion cubic meters. Also, the volume of dams in the country is 32% until this date.

The condition of some of the important dams in the country shows that the percentage of filling is less than 10% in 16 dams, such as Lar, Amirkabir and Letian-Mamlo Dams in Tehran Province, Dosti Dam and Targah Khorasan Razavi, Panzdeh Khordad Dam in Qomroud Basin, Luman Dam in West Azerbaijan, Esteghlal and Shamil and Nian Dams in Hormozgan Province, Sefid Roud Dam in Gilan Province, Ninth Dam in Zanjan Province, Nasa Dam in Kerman Province, Tangueh Sirjan Dam in Kerman Hasht Province %, Rodbal Darab dam in Fars province has less than 10% water.
