Solidarity marches with the Palestinian people around the world
Thousands of people peacefully participated in Geneva and other European cities in solidarity with the Palestinian people to commemorate the Iernational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and also called for action and accouability.
According to RCO News Agency, the “Great Geneva Protest”, organized by the Boycott, Divestme and Sanctions Moveme of Israel, started from the English Garden near Lake Geneva, and then the protesters marched to the fro of the UN office in Geneva, where the protests reached their climax.
According to Anatolia News agency, while the police were around them, the protesters chaed slogans such as “Free Palestine”, “Palestine will be free from the river to the sea”, “Israel in court”, “Stop war crimes” and “Boycott Israel”, waving Palestinian flags and carrying placards criticizing Israel.
Participas in this march also called for Palestinian autonomy and stressed that no peace can be achieved without “justice and decolonization”.
The protesters reminded the world of the human rights of the Palestinians, demanded legal prosecution of the illegal attacks of the Zionist settlers in the West Bank and to stop the destruction of the Palestinian people.
Protesters also accused Switzerland of not speaking up about the situation in Gaza and called on Bern to “end its military cooperation with Israel.”
They chaed “Switzerland’s silence is collusion”.
A Swiss-Spanish protester told Anadolu Agency that “genocide” was still going on under the ceasefire, drawing atteion to the governme’s inaction.
“I am here because the situation in Gaza is clearly catastrophic,” he said. “Not only is the genocide coinuing, but governmes are doing nothing.”
This protester we on to say: “For two years, we have seen terrible images that keep us awake at night. So it is natural that we are here to condemn the crimes committed by humanity, the whole world.”
Also, thousands of people marched in the French capital on the Iernational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People in support of the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip.

The large crowd, estimated by organizers at around 50,000, chaed slogans such as “Gaza, Gaza, Paris with you” and “From Paris to Gaza, resistance” as they waved Palestinian flags and placards reading “Palestine, we will not be sile” and “Stop the genocide”.
Meanwhile, Athens, the capital of Greece, witnessed a solidarity march with Palestine on Saturday on the occasion of the Iernational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. Responding to the call of civil society organizations, hundreds of protesters gathered in a park in the ceer of Athens at the same time as commemorating the Iernational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29.

The participas called for an end to the occupation’s attacks against the Palestinian people and to find a just and sustainable solution for the Palestinians.
Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and chaed slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine”.
The protesters ended their march by marching towards the Israeli embassy in Athens.
Also, Spain witnessed demonstrations and marches in solidarity with Palestine in more than 40 cities, including the capital, Madrid and Barcelona.
Many Spaniards took to the streets of their cities to express their condemnation and protest against Israel on the occasion of the Iernational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which is held on November 29.

Protesters carried placards with slogans such as “Stop the Genocide” and “Complete gun ban against Israel”. They also chaed slogans such as “Free Palestine” and “Killer Israel”.

Every year on November 29, solidarity eves are held in several couries around the world to commemorate the Iernational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, established by the United Nations in 1977.
