Hazem Qassem: The criminal army has intensified the scope of its attacks on Gaza – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Shahab news agency, the spokesman of Hamas announced that the occupying army has intensified its attacks against Gaza.

Hazem Qassem, the spokesman of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, emphasized that the criminal army of the Zionist regime intensified its attacks on the Gaza strip by land, sea and air last night and continued the operation of destroying houses.

The spokesman of Hamas stated: The deliberate killing of two children this morning by the Zionist occupiers shows once again that the genocidal war against the residents of Gaza continues and the Zionist attacks have not stopped but have increased in intensity.

He asked the mediators, the guarantor countries of the agreement and the parties present at the Sharm el-Sheikh meeting to take serious action to stop the violation of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime and to oblige this regime to fulfill its obligations based on the agreement.

Meanwhile, Ismail al-Thwabateh, the director general of the Palestinian government information office in Gaza, said in an interview with Al Jazeera: Since the announcement of the ceasefire between the Hamas movement and the Zionist regime, the Israeli regime has documented 535 times violated this agreement, and during this time, 350 Palestinians were martyred and 900 people were injured.

He said that according to the agreement, 28,000 trucks carrying humanitarian aid should have entered Gaza, but the Zionist regime allowed only 9,930 trucks to enter the area, which is 35% (of the total agreed shipments).

Al-Thwabateh noted that the infrastructure, destruction and aggression of the Zionist regime have caused the situation in Gaza to become unprecedentedly disastrous.

This is while the Zionist newspaper “Haaretz” reported, citing Palestinian and Arab sources, that negotiations in Cairo regarding the second phase of the ceasefire in Gaza have reached a complete deadlock, and the Zionist regime refuses to accept the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire, i.e. withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and the Hamas movement has also refused to hand over its weapons without receiving clear guarantees.
