Izostia: Iran’s destabilization project led to iernal cohesion

Russian experts say that the project of America and the Zionist regime to destabilize Iran did not work, and on the corary, iernal cohesion was strengthened.
According to RCO News Agency, Ivan Glukhov, a researcher at the “Global South Studies” ceer of the Russian Academy of Sciences, told the Russian newspaper Izvestia that the United States and the Zionist regime consider destabilization of Iran as one of their long-term goals in the West Asian region.
Glukhov explained in this regard: “The issue is not the complete elimination of Iran, but the change of the political system and the establishme of a governme that is favorable and loyal to the ierests of the collective West.” However, corol of this territory must be exercised from a single ceer, otherwise there is a risk of upsetting the fragile balance of the region.
This Russian expert emphasized that efforts to destabilize Iran’s iernal political situation from other directions have been ineffective recely.
He coinued: “Although the actions of the United States and Israel have dealt blows to Iran, on the corary, they have brought people together around the political leadership. “The initial strategy of the West did not have the expected result, and therefore the possibility of any instability should be considered purely hypothetical.”
Adlan Margoev, a researcher at the Iernational Studies Institute and a lecturer at the Departme of Orieal Studies at MGIMO University, also poied out that modern Iran is a combination of national and religious ideas.
He explained that Iran does not rely only on religious compones to gain the support of public opinion and sometimes takes help from traditions and national symbols.
Margoev said that when such an approach is used in foreign policy, it is necessary to prese decisions in a way that seems compatible with one of these national or religious traditions. According to him, “Iran’s political leadership has been able to do this skillfully.”
