Baitullahi pointed out the seismicity of this region and emphasized that the surveys show that earthquakes occurred around the epicenter of the 5.1 earthquake, and reminded: historical earthquakes in this area up to a radius of 2 degrees and machine earthquakes up to a radius of 1 degree have been shown around the epicenter of the 5.1 earthquake in Bahabad, Yazd province. The catalog of artificial earthquakes has been prepared since 1900. According to him, so far, the number of 2,179 earthquakes with a magnitude of 2.5 and above have been recorded in the area around the center from 2006 to the time of the 5.1 earthquake in Bahabad, Yazd province, for 19 years.
