Former CIA colleague in Afghanistan, suspect in Washington shooting

The shooting occurred near the Farragut West subway station in Washington, the capital of the United States, and near the White House, leaving two members of the National Guard in critical condition.
US Preside Donald Trump called this incide a “terrorist act” and added: “We must now re-examine the status of each and every foreign national who eered our coury from Afghanistan during the Biden presidency.”
Shortly after Trump’s order, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced in a stateme that it had indefinitely suspended the processing of all immigration applications for Afghan nationals.
The organization noted that the safety and protection of the American land and people will remain our primary focus and mission.
The suspect, who is now in custody, was also shot and had injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, according to a US security official who asked not to be named.

Donald Trump, speaking from Palm Beach, Florida, also said he was determined to make sure whoever committed the crime paid the heaviest price possible.
“Just as we are filled with grief and sorrow for those who have been shot, we are also filled with anger and determination,” he added.
The US preside also used the opportunity to attack Biden’s immigration policies, calling the shooting the result of lax vetting of immigras from Afghanistan, a coury he described as a “hell hole on earth.”
