Shooting at US National Guard troops near the White House
American Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem announced on Wednesday in a message on the X social network that two members of the American National Guard were shot on Wednesday in Washington.

Patrick Morrissey, the governor of West Virginia, announced that 2 members of the American National Guard who were from this state died due to the severity of the injuries caused by the shooting, but minutes later he corrected his article on X and wrote: We are now receiving conflicting reports about the condition of our 2 members of the National Guard and will provide an update as soon as we receive more complete information.
