France: We adhere to the diplomatic solution regarding Iran’s nuclear issue
In a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, the French foreign minister said that his country, along with its European and American partners, adheres to a diplomatic solution.
According to RCO News Agency, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro met and talked with his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi in Paris on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
According to the statement of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Minister of this country discussed the situation of Cecil Koehler and Jacques Paris in this meeting and emphasized the necessity of returning these two French citizens, who are currently present at the French Embassy in Tehran, to their country as soon as possible.
He also continued the claims of the Europeans, “reiterating the deep concern of France and its partners regarding Iran’s nuclear program and asked Iran to return to its safeguards obligations without delay and resume full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.”
According to the Paris statement, the French Foreign Minister recalled that “France, along with its European and American partners, adheres to a diplomatic solution and asked Iran to return to the negotiating table in order to reach a solid and stable agreement that guarantees that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon.”
This claim is made while Iran was present at the negotiating table, and America and the Zionist regime attacked Iran by betraying diplomacy. Iran has also repeatedly emphasized that it does not have nuclear weapons in the world and “Rafael Grossi has also put a page on this declaration of Iran.”
The two ministers also discussed regional issues.
The French Foreign Minister emphasized his country’s commitment to support Lebanon in strengthening its sovereignty and security, stabilizing the ceasefire in Gaza and creating a credible path for the implementation of a two-state solution.
