Lukashenko suggested Minsk for Russia-Ukraine talks

The presides of Russia and Belarus, who have traveled to Kyrgyzstan to participate in the meeting of the Joi Security Treaty Organization, met each other in the capital of this Asian coury.
According to Isna, Russian Preside Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian couerpart Alexander Lukashenko met today (Wednesday) at the official residence of the Kyrgyz Preside (Ala Archa) in Bishkek.
According to “Ryanovsi” News agency, during the meeting with Lukashenko, the Russian Preside noted that America understands the complexity of the process of resolving the war in Ukraine.
Putin stated: “There is an understanding in America that the issue of resolving the war in Ukraine is not easy and requires making difficult decisions.”
Also, the preside of Belarus said about the process of resolving the war in Ukraine: “We hope that America will understand that such a thing is a difficult issue and requires difficult decisions, and thus this process will be on its normal path.”
Putin replied: “I think there is such an understanding in America and we can talk about this in more detail.”
“I will be happy to update you on our progress towards achieving acceptable results, results that we seek through peaceful means in Ukraine,” he told Lukashenko.
He appreciated Lukashenko’s support for the process of negotiations related to Ukraine.
Referring to the fact that the first coacts between Moscow and Kiev to resolve the war took place on the territory of Belarus, the Preside of Belarus said: “If you wa to return to Minsk again, we are fully open to it and ready for it.”
According to Lukashenko, Minsk is ready to host the Ukrainian peace talks. He also said that Minsk’s position regarding the resolution of the war in Ukraine is legally justified considering that Belarus is an ally of Russia.
Emphasizing that it is necessary to consult with Putin on some urge issues, he said: “If America is cautious in its requests for peace in Ukraine, everything will go well.”
