A poll showed: Bardela is the winner of the 2027 French elections

A research institute in France has predicted that Jordan Bardella, the 30-year-old far-right leader, will win the next presideial election, regardless of who his rivals are.
According to RCO News Agency, after conducting a poll of 1,000 people on November 19 and 20, the French institute Odoxa found that Marine Le Pen, the curre leader of the far-right National Assembly (RN) party, would win more votes than anyone else if presideial elections were held this week.
Depending on who Le Pen’s rivals are, she will get 35 or 36 perce of the vote in the first round, Odoxa noted, while winning against the other candidates who made it to the second round.
But Marine Le Pen, 57, was banned from holding public office for five years after a court in March found her and some members of her party guilty of embezzleme. And if his suspension coinues, 30-year-old Jordan Bardella, whose popularity has surpassed his coach, will be the candidate of the far-right party in the 2027 presideial election.
The poll showed that Bardella will win in the second round with 74% of the votes against Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the leader of the extreme left, and with a smaller margin of 53% against Edouard Philippe. The margin of error of this survey was 2.5 perce.
Earlier this moh, another poll showed Bardella narrowly losing to Philip in the runoff, Reuters reported.
The poor performance of incumbe French Preside Emmanuel Macron’s successors comes after his popularity plummeted since his decision to call a general election in mid-2024, resulting in a hung parliame and the inability to form an effective coalition.
However, in a report published with the poll results, the Odoxa Institute stated: “Unfortunately, being the fro-runner a few mohs before the presideial election is no guaraee of success.”
In the past, Marine Le Pen and her father Jean-Marie Le Pen both faced broad political coalitions that defeated them three times in the second round of presideial elections.
