• Strengthening Iran’s cultural diplomacy: Dr. Jalili’s continuous presence in the executive board of SIMOST allows Iran to participate more in the strategic decisions of science and technology museums and strengthen the country’s voice in this international committee.
• Continuation of international cooperation: Considering Simost’s history of chairing important meetings and management experience, his re-election can expand scientific, educational and exhibition cooperation between Iranian museums and other countries.
• Showing the scientific capacity of the country: This success, in addition to the cultural aspect, shows the scientific and research capability of Iran’s museum managers, especially that Dr. Jalili is a university professor and a well-known scientific figure in the field of theoretical and computational chemistry.
