The dream of escaping from the hustle and bustle of the city and taking refuge in the lap of nature is now one step closer to the future. A creative team of former employees of leading companies such as SpaceX, Tesla and Airbnb have designed a portable shelter called Jupe that pushes the boundaries between camping, tiny cabins and luxury accommodation. This structure, which looks more like a spaceship or a cut diamond, brings a unique experience of traveling and staying in nature to modern adventurers. (Yanko Design)

Jupe’s folding shelter was inspired by the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey” by Stanley Kubrick. Its aluminum frame and shiny and resistant fabric allow the jupe to be erected in any weather condition and on any terrain, even uneven surfaces, within a few hours. The main goal of the designers was not only to build a temporary residence; Rather, it has been creating a gateway to the outside world and pristine nature.

Upon entering Jupe, you will face a space of 10 square meters, whose 3.3-meter high ceiling creates a wonderful sense of coziness. The wooden floor, large bed, table and chairs and clever storage space provide a combination of the comfort of a small house and the excitement of a luxury tent. The wooden floorboards open to reveal spacious compartments, big enough to hold 10 large suitcases.
The Zoop shelter is fully equipped for off-grid living. This cottage provides residents with a 200 ampere-hour battery along with solar panels, electrical outlets, USB charging ports, LED lighting system with the ability to adjust the light, and even a private Wi-Fi network. In this way, travelers can maintain their connection with the digital world while drowning in the peace of nature.

One of the key innovations in the design of the Jupe is its chassis, which eliminates the need for any foundation or platform construction. This feature allows the shelter to be erected with minimal damage to the land and after collection, nature returns to its original state. In addition, it is possible to upgrade the facilities by adding things like a smart speaker, a safe, more solar panels and a porch. Whether in the heart of a vast desert, on top of a cliff overlooking the sea, or even in your own backyard, Jupe is the gateway to an unforgettable adventure.
