Maximum pressure has made Iran more determined to strengthen deterrence
Referring to the history of American pressure against Iran to prevent the emergence of an independent regional power against Zionism and Western hegemony, the Yemeni expert said that “negotiation from the position of power, maintaining national unity and continuing to support the axis of resistance is the only way to deal with the aggressive strategy of America.”
According to Isna, US President Donald Trump, who claimed that if he wins the 2024 elections, he will immediately reach an agreement with Iran, after his appearance at the White House again in a presidential address, he once again revived the policy of “maximum pressure” against Iran; A policy that had failed during his first term as president and according to American officials.
After “betraying diplomacy” and in the middle of nuclear negotiations with Tehran, by showing the green light to the Zionist regime to join the military aggression against Iran, Trump repeated the keyword “surrender” many times to clearly express his intention of negotiations. He also admitted that he is the main responsible for the aggressive attacks of the Zionist regime on Iran.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on Sunday, during a speech at the “International Law Under Attack: Aggression and Defense” conference held in Tehran, that on the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki disaster, the United States committed another crime with aggressive, defiant and deeply irresponsible attacks on peaceful nuclear sites under the supervision of the IAEA in Iran and once again became the first threat to world peace and security.
Araghchi further said: The Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the right to legitimately defend its land and people against an illegal aggression, not only stopped the aggressors, but with the hard blows it gave to the aggressor, it showed that although the Iranian nation is a peace-loving nation, it will stand until the end in the face of war and regret the aggressor. Everyone saw how the message of “unconditional surrender” changed to a request for “unconditional ceasefire” and the initial illusions about the Iranian nation and system disappeared.

America’s policy regarding Iran has been the same with different methods
In an interview with ISNA, Yemeni expert Mohammad Al-Alujieh said about Trump’s statement that his goal is the complete surrender of Iran, and said: “Trump’s declared position with the aim of Iran’s surrender is the most obvious and hostile embodiment of the policy of maximum pressure.” This policy is nothing more than economic war and state terrorism, which is carried out with the aim of putting the Iranian people in trouble, forcing Tehran’s government to give up independent decision-making and destroying its defense capabilities. This is the old colonial approach based on threats and punishment.
He stated: When comparing Trump’s hostile approach with previous American presidents, it is clear that all American governments have followed a hostile approach towards Iran, albeit in different forms, since the victory of the Islamic Revolution. While governments like the George W. Bush administration used direct military threats, governments like the Barack Obama administration tried to use soft power and deception through diplomacy, such as the nuclear deal, to contain Iran and reduce its influence. However, the ultimate goal has always been the same: to prevent the emergence of an independent regional power opposed to Zionism and Western hegemony.
The Yemeni analyst said: Therefore, the failure of all these strategies is proof of the steadfastness of the sovereignty and the firm faith of the Iranian people in the principles of their revolution. Resistance and stability of Iranians has achieved a great victory by thwarting all these plans. The policy of maximum pressure and capitulation has largely failed because it has increased Iran’s determination to strengthen its deterrence and scientific capabilities.

Muhammad Al-Awjieh, a Yemeni expert
Trump’s confession is a war crime
Mohammad Al-Alujieh also clarified about Trump’s admission of the attack against Iran and its legal consequences: Trump’s admission of his responsibility for the attack on Iran, especially the targeting of peaceful nuclear facilities and civilian casualties caused by the aggression against Iran, is considered a war crime according to international humanitarian law.
He explained: This act is a clear violation of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent country and a member of the United Nations, which is contrary to the United Nations Charter.
Mohammad Al-Alujieh clarified: This confession also strongly exposes the double standards of the West and the United States. While they accuse others of terrorism, their president openly commits war crimes and is proud of it. The international community and the International Criminal Court have been asked to prosecute Trump and all those responsible for this crime, but the domination of the Western powers over these organizations prevents the implementation of justice.
A Yemeni political expert emphasized: The American regime is the most terrorist and authoritarian regime in the world and does not hesitate to commit any crime to achieve its goals. This is another proof of the legitimacy of the resistance approach as the only option to deter this enemy.

Iran has maintained the approach of resistance and stability
In the end, he said: The approach of resistance and stability is what has preserved Iran and revealed the true nature of the American regime. The path of negotiation from the position of strength, internal unity and continuous support of the axis of resistance is the only way to deal with this aggressive strategy of America. Time has proven that maximum pressure only leads to maximum resistance and today Iran is stronger than ever thanks to the will of the people and the faith of its leadership.
