According to the Mehr news agency, Afghanistan’s TOLOnews television channel wrote in a report about the latest developments in the relations between Kabul and Islamabad: Although Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced last week that a delegation from his country would travel to Pakistan to resume talks between Kabul and Islamabad, this trip has not yet taken place.
This Afghan media added: So far, none of the officials of Pakistan or Turkey have provided an explanation about this issue, and this issue has raised many questions about the continuation of peace talks between Kabul and Islamabad.
Last week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that a delegation from this country will soon leave for Pakistan, and the purpose of this trip is to discuss the finalization of the ceasefire agreement between the Pakistani government and the Afghan Taliban.
The third round of talks between the Taliban and Pakistan in Istanbul ended without a clear result and both sides accused each other of not having the spirit of cooperation.
