According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Akhbar, Hossein Al-Haj Hassan, the represeative of the faction loyal to the resistance in the Lebanese Parliame, rejected the view of those who consider the existence of weapons of the resistance as the reason for the aggression of the Zionist regime, and emphasized that America is not a fair mediator, but the driver of Zionist projects.
Hossein Alhaj Hassan emphasized: What is being proposed to Lebanon today is the same things as the creation of a buffer zone, the coinuation of the occupation, and the elimination of power factors, not only for the resistance but also for the Lebanese governme, which was imposed on Syria before.
He emphasized: America is neither a just nor fair mediator, but the leader and driver of Zionist projects in the region.
Al-Hajj Hassan poied out that some people in Lebanon always wa to disarm the resistance and take excuses from the enemy as if the weapons of the resistance are the cause of the aggression, and strongly criticized this poi of view.
And he said: In the shadow of the previous agreeme, which emphasized the withdrawal of the enemy from Lebanon, the cessation of aggression, the release of prisoners and reconstruction, with the supervision of the United States and the guaraee of the United Nations and the participation of France, what is the meaning of repeated calls for a new agreeme with the enemy. When the previous agreeme was not implemeed by the enemy, then why negotiate for a new agreeme?
By bringing up the situation in Syria, he asked: Is there resistance and weapons in Syria? So why is Israel occupying more lands there and declaring that it will not withdraw from it?
This member of the Lebanese Parliame added: “The new regime in Syria is an ally of America, but the occupation is still there.” Retreating against the enemy brings more conditions. The more you fall short of the factors of power against the enemy, the weaker you will be, and we emphasize once again that resistance and national unity are the only guaraors of deterrence and protection.
