TheAccording to Mehr news agency, quoting from Sumeria, Nouri Maliki, the head of the Governme of Law coalition, predicted that the announceme of the results will be happy for him. He asked the Iraqis to participate in the elections and their presence should be a message to all those who are couing on the failure of the elections.
Speaking after casting his vote, Maliki expressed that he expects a large participation of the people in the elections and was all Iraqis to participate in the Iraqi parliameary elections and send a message to all those who are couing on the failure of the elections.
He added: The Iraqi nation and its political forces were able to reach this great day and removed all the obstacles that stood in our way in holding elections.
The head of the Governme of Law coalition noted that holding elections is a happy day and we will be more happy when the results are announced.
While requesting all political forces and sections of the Iraqi people to participate in the elections to fight corruption, he added: We came early to ask all the Iraqi people to go to the elections and not to delay, because this day is a big day for us.
