6 dead in the US attack on 2 boats in the Caribbean
The US Secretary of War announced that US forces have killed six people in two new attacks against suspected drug-trafficking boats off the coast of South America.
According to RCO News Agency, US Secretary of War Pete Hegst announced that US forces targeted two boats suspected of drug trafficking off the coast of South America and six people were killed in these attacks.
He said that the United States has started carrying out such attacks since early September; Attacks that some experts call “extrajudicial executions,” even if they target people known to be involved in drug trafficking. These attacks have targeted boats in the Caribbean and the eastern Pacific.
“Yesterday, at the behest of President Trump, two deadly attacks were carried out against two vessels belonging to designated terrorist organizations,” Hegst said.
In a message on X social network, he added: “Both attacks were carried out in international waters, and three men affiliated with drug cartels were present in each vessel. All 6 people were killed. None of the American troops were injured. “In the Trump administration, we will protect our homeland and take down these cartel terrorists who are trying to harm our country and our people.”
According to him, according to US information, these vessels were connected to illegal drug trafficking, were carrying drug cargo and were moving along the known smuggling route in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
However, Washington has so far provided no concrete evidence that the targets of these attacks were actually drug smugglers or posed a direct threat to the United States.
