German objection to the export of weapons from this country to the occupied territories
A number of German citizens, in the city of Hamburg, protested against the export of weapons from Germany to the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to RCO News Agency, a number of activists in Germany chained themselves to the train tracks to protest the export of weapons from their country to the occupied Palestinian territories and to draw attention to the suffering of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
About 40 activists participated in this demonstration held in the city of Hamburg and blocked the railway leading to the port of Hamburg.
Yole Fink, the spokesperson of the activist group, said in a conversation with reporters at the protest site: “We believe that civil disobedience in solidarity with Palestine is a right action.”
He emphasized that the government of the Zionist regime in Palestine is committing genocide and war crimes, and the German government is participating in these crimes by continuing to export weapons to this regime through German ports.
He asked: “Why do the residents of Hamburg allow the port of their city to become a center for sending weapons?”
The protest ended with the intervention of the police and the police forces removed the activists from the tracks.
