The absence of the United States in the United Nations meeting on Washington’s human rights records

Governmes are required to report on their records, but the United States has refused to do so.
The efforts of the head of the UN Human Rights Council to talk with the US before the meeting were unsuccessful and he suspended the investigation of the case.
