Abdul Latif Rashid’s consultation with the Minister of Ierior of Iraq about the parliameary elections – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, citing the information base of the Iraqi presidency, Iraqi Preside Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid hosted Iraqi Ierior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari in Baghdad Palace.
In this meeting, the curre measures to organize the parliameary election process and ways to ensure its success in order to strengthen the democratic process in Iraq were reviewed.
The Preside of Iraq poied out the importance of creating a safe and stable environme that would make elections possible and give citizens the right to vote freely and transparely.
He further emphasized the importance of the role of the Iraqi Ministry of Ierior in protecting election ceers and ensuring the security of the voting process by implemeing a security plan in Baghdad and other provinces of this coury in order to ensure safe and sound elections.
On the other hand, Al-Shammari poied to the plan of his ministry to ensure the security of polling ceers and protect the electoral process and emphasized the readiness of the security forces to perform their duties in order to ensure the holding of elections in a safe and orderly environme.
