Türkiye will host a meeting on Gaza next Monday – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency

According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, Turkey’s foreign minister announced that the coury will host a meeting next Monday with the presence of the foreign ministers of the couries that met with US Preside Donald Trump in New York last September to discuss the developmes in Gaza.
In a press conference in Ankara, Hakan Fidan added that those prese at the Ankara meeting will discuss the developmes related to the ceasefire agreeme in the Gaza Strip and the next phase there.
He stated that Türkiye is concerned about the stability of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and added: “The negotiations on the formation of a special group for the Gaza Strip and a stabilization force in this strip are coinuing.” The issues that are currely being discussed are how to move to the second stage, i.e. the deployme of a stabilizing force in the Gaza Strip.
These statemes of the Turkish Foreign Minister come while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized last week his opposition to any role of Turkish security forces in the Gaza Strip as part of the US-backed cease-fire monitoring mission.
It should be noted that in early October last moh, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, US Preside Donald Trump met with the heads of 9 Arab and Islamic couries and discussed with them the future of Gaza after the war.
