According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Mayadin, Venezuela’s Defense Minister Vladmir Padrino Lopez said that more than 20,000 military forces are stationed in the west of the coury and are performing their duties.
He added: “The people of Venezuela live in peace, but they suffer from the American economic sanctions against their coury.”
Last Wednesday, the Trump administration authorized the secret operations of the US Ceral Ielligence Agency (CIA) in Venezuela, and according to this, the CIA can carry out deadly operations either independely or in cooperation with the military.
According to this newspaper, the US military has prepared options for consideration by Trump, which includes possible attacks inside Venezuela.
On Tuesday evening of last week, Trump published a post on his social network Truth Social and said that on his order the US military forces attacked a vessel off the coast of Venezuela, as a result of which 6 people were killed.
The US Preside claimed that this vessel was carrying drug smuggling.
Since last September, the US has attacked Venezuelan boats five times under the pretext of transporting drugs.
