Indonesia did not gra visas to Zionist gymnasts – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Turkey’s Anatolia news agency, the Indonesian governme announced that it will not issue visas to six Israeli athletes who were supposed to participate in the 2025 World Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta.
according toYousrilEhzaMahendra“, the Minister of Coordination of Legal Affairs, Immigration and Reforms of Indonesia, these athletes will not participate in the competitions that will be held from October 19 to 25 next year.
He emphasized that Indonesia will not establish any diplomatic relations with Israel uil the complete liberation of Palestine.
Following this action, the Iernational Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) also rejected the Israeli protest against Indonesia’s decision not to issue visas to the athletes of this regime.
In the stateme of this court, it is stated that the Israeli Gymnastics Union (Regime) requested to cancel Indonesia’s decision, or transfer the competition to another coury and even cancel the competition completely, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected this request and confirmed the decision of the Indonesian governme not to participate in the Israeli athletes.
