Russian Preside Donald Trump would be a historic eve if his US couerpart Donald Trump succeeds in implemeing his project on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, according to the Mehr News Agency.

“We support US initiatives in the Middle East and the most importa issue is the establishme of a Palestinian state,” Vladimir Putin said at a news conference after the trip to Tajikistan.

“Trump is working on peace issues, and we are seeing it in the Middle East,” Putin said.

He emphasized: Given the level of trust between Russia and Palestine, our participation in the Gaza peace process may be necessary and welcomed. Russia has suggestions for resolving the situation in Gaza.

The Russian preside also poied out that the summit of the coury and the Arab couries was delayed by his proposal, saying: “I do not wa to disrupt the process of resolving the situation in the Middle East.”
