History of Aalya Archaeological Museum

A closet that was supposed to protect the treasure inside from looters such as Italy, Germany, England, etc. In this year, which coincided with the last years of the Ottoman rule, the foundation of the Aalya Archeology Museum was laid in a mosque named “Aladdin”.
The purpose of this mechanism was to protect the remains from the Stone Age to the Ottoman rule. Finally, in 1972, the valuable artifacts of this closet were transferred to the curre building of the Aalya Archaeological Museum.
