Quoted by ISNA; The head of the Ardestan Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Departme announced the damage of about four historic monumes in the city last night.
Mojtaba Pourshafi said about the injuries in Ardestan and Zawarah last night:
The earthquake has damaged a number of Ardestan monumes last night, but none of these buildings were destroyed or completely collapsed. Early estimates show that about 3 monumes, especially in the city of Zawara, have been damaged.
The head of the Ardestan Cultural Heritage Bureau said that most of the monumes are adobe and plaster.
With the follow -up, specialized teams from the provincial cultural heritage departme will be dispatched to the city on Saturday to accurately determine the amou of damage and the restoration of buildings. This morning, along with other officials, the monumes have been visited, and many of them have been shifted to walls and gaps in various roofs and sections.
Referring to some of the injured index effects, he said:
The north side of the Ardestan Jame Mosque, parts of Zawarah Mosque, Khosrow Ardestan Mosque, Zawarah Eighth House, Arbab Hussein’s House and a number of national registration houses are among the buildings that have been cracking in the earthquake. The exact amou of damage and the renovation method requires experts to take the necessary measures to start restoration operations.
Responding to the question that some past injuries may be attributed to the earthquake, Pourshafi said:
Old damages and new gaps are clearly consiste. Our goal is to eliminate damage to the city’s monumes and registrations, which can be used for differe credit rows.
