Protests in Latin America Following the Zionist invasion of Samud Fleet – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
Thousands of people in several cities in Latin America protested in protest of the arrest of the International Fleet of Samud, who was banned from the Zionist Navy to break the siege of the Gaza Strip, according to the Mehr News Agency. The protests were held in cities such as Mexico City, Bogota, Buenos Aires and Montevido.
In Bogota, the capital of Colombia gathered a group of protesters in front of the Colombian National Business Association, representing the private sector. The place was chosen because the “World Movement to Gaza” accused the institution of direct contact with Israel’s economic representation in Colombia. The association later rejected the allegation in a statement.
In Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina also participated in the demonstrations. Protesters condemned the occupation forces’ attack on the Caravan Caravan and called for a genocide in Gaza.
There was also a demonstration in Montevido, the capital of Uruguay, where activists chanted slogans themes of Palestinian freedom and with placards demanded that Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be imprisoned.
Mexican protesters also gathered in Mexico City in front of the State Department and called for the release of all members of the Samud fleet, including seven Mexican citizens arrested by Zionist forces.
The Samud International fleet, which included more than 2 ships and more than 5 volunteers from about 5 countries, was seized by the Zionist Navy about 2 miles from Gaza last night.
According to the fleet’s organizers, four ships belonging to the fleet were seized and one of them was attacked in international waters.
