
According to the Mehr corresponde, the second day of the Brex Member States Information Working Group was hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran and at the Presideial Transformation Cooperation Ceer.
Sajjad Ahmadzadeh, head of the Presideial Cooperation Ceer, said in an ierview with Mehr reporter on the sidelines of the meeting, saying that the ceer has been approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a formal focus of the coury, relying on the experience of more than four decades in the field of iernational technology and innovation ieractions.
Referring to the increasing importance of spatial information technologies in improving efficiency, security and quality of life, including in areas such as smart routing, traffic manageme, public service promotion and emergency response, he said: With the consultations carried out by the ceer, the fourth -year -old BRIX Task Force meeting was hosted.
He added: “In this regard, numerous measures have been taken to engage and create convergence between the organizations and universities responsible for this field in the coury and as a result, the Iranian Mapping Organization has been iroduced to the Berixian parties as a specialized focus.”
According to the head of the Ceer for Presideial Transformation Cooperation, the meeting was launched yesterday with the online participation of four couries out of five Brex member states, and the first day was dedicated to the achievemes and capabilities of member states in the field of information technology.
Ahmadzadeh also stated that on the second day of the meeting, represeatives of the couries will submit their suggestions to define joi projects.
He emphasized that at the end of the meeting, the joi cooperation reference docume would be finalized with the agreeme of the parties.
The head of the Preside’s Ceer for Transformation and Progress expressed hope that by utilizing the high capacity of the Brix Summit, it would be possible to share successful experiences between couries and to develop an appropriate model for implemeing iernational projects in this area.
He also emphasized the necessity of providing a platform for safe exchange of spatial data among member states.
