According to Mehr Reporter, Dr. Ramin Papi, Director General of the Departme of Public Relations, Public Relations and Iernational Affairs of the coury’s Mapping Organization and the main coordinator of the Brex Spatial Information Working Group, said on the sidelines of the workgroup, which was held today at the Presideial and Presideial Developme Ceer for the first time in the Islamic Republic. Papi coinued: This year, the Mapping Organization, in cooperation with the Ceer for Presideial Developme and Progress, is hosting the meeting and the summit will be held in Iran for two days.
He said: At the meeting, various achievemes and technologies in the field of mapping and spatial information were discussed and discussed on joi cooperation by couries.
On the second day of the meeting, the member states will submit their suggestions for cooperation and the docume of cooperation in the area of mapping and spatial information will be formulated that determines the framework of cooperation in the Brix Group.
Papi said: Mapping is directly related to information technology, and sharing, transfer and manageme of location information is very importa in this area and requires the cooperation of organizations and people.
He added: “Today, in addition to Russia, China, Brazil, India, Indonesia, South Africa, Egypt and Ethiopia, we host various organizations, including the Meteorological Organization, the Geological Survey, the Geographical Organization, the Space and Nasir al -Din Tusi, which shows the importa role of spatial information in national level developme.”
