For the first time, researchers in the Tehran University Biochemical and Biophysics Research Ceer (IBB) developed a complete, non -destructive and biodegradable system that uses the usual human body movemes to produce energy and stimulate therapeutic processes, according to the University of Tehran.
This research achieveme titled: Biodegradable and Without Mechanical Energy Harvesting System with aesthetic design for portable and self -sacrificing biological applications “in Biophysics and Biological Engineering Laboratory led by Dr. Mohammad Ali Khayyamian, a faculty member of the Biophysics Group, 4.3, published.
In this method, thin and conductive electrodes patterns are used in the outer underlying of the skin to act as an electronic active substrate.

This system not only requires any external equipme, but with simple patie movemes (such as walking), it can automatically operate and help heal wounds or monitor vital signs.
One of the innovative aspects of this work is the use of biodegradable (on the basis of zinc) that, after performing their role, are gradually and without the need for medical ierveion. The ability to design electrodes in artistic shapes also paves the way for the combination of technology and aesthetics for the future of the individual -based medical.
