Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement in response to a recent speech by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at the UN General Assembly demanded that Palestinian resistance was disarmed. Issued a statement.

Resistance is a national and ethical duty and derives its legitimacy from the resilient and sustainable Palestinian people whose resistance to occupation is in accordance with international law.

“We fully condemn the Palestinian Authority President with the false Zionist narrative and accuse the resistance of targeting civilians,” Hamas added.

Hamas said in another part of the statement: “As long as the occupation is rooted in our land and in the hearts of our people, we can create weapons of resistance.”

We request the Palestinian Authority President to deliver the weapon of resistance, especially in the shadow of the brutal and devastating war that our people face in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank; We condemn.

Hamas added: “The only way to protect our national ideal and to counter fascist occupation plans is to national unity and consensus on a comprehensive struggle program to confront the occupation and criminal Zionist regime to bring the Palestinian liberation and their return and form the Palestinian government into the capital of Quds.”
