The general manager of Russia’s Russian Russian Atom has announced that the construction of the second and third reactors of the Bushehr nuclear power pla in Iran will coinue, according to Mehr News Agency.
The news comes as the state -owned Russian company had earlier insisted that Tehran and Moscow had signed a memorandum of understanding on the construction of small nuclear power plas in Iran.
The memorandum was signed on Wednesday after the visit of Vice Preside and Preside of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization and Likhachaf CEO in Moscow.
The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization and the CEO of Rusktam Company discussed the progress of the ongoing projects and the prospects and promising perspectives of cooperation in the peaceful nuclear energy cooperation.
The agreeme has been signed to expand cooperation in peaceful nuclear energy uses to promote sustainable developme, energy security and technology advanceme and in accordance with national law and iernational obligations.
