Eighth UN General Assembly; New York Hosting “One Week High Level” – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

Iernational leaders are scheduled to discuss world challenges, including peace, sustainable developme, human rights protection, gender equality, artificial ielligence manageme, combating infectious diseases and meal disorders, as well as the effects of climate change.

The one -week eve will be held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishme of the United Nations, and its main theme “together is better: 5 years and beyond for peace, developme and human rights.”

Represeatives of the UN member states, observers from the Vatican and the Palestinian governme, as well as the European Union, will participate in future debates.

Speeches will be delivered by the heads of states, governmes and iernational delegations. High-level meetings, along with hundreds of bilateral meetings and subject eves on the sidelines of the Assembly, will be held from September 1 to September 1 (1 to 7th of October)- with a program planned on Sunday.

Opening

The public debate will begin with the speech of the UN Secretary -General Aonio Guterres and the Preside of the 80th General Assembly of the Iernational Institution.
