“I again announced to Mahmoud Abbas that France will recognize the Palestinian governme on Monday,” Mehr News Agency quoted Qatar’s Al -Jazeera Network as saying.
Macron emphasized that recognizing the Palestinian state is “part of a comprehensive regional peace plan” aimed at providing Israelis and Palestinians in the field of security and peace.
The French preside also said that Abbas has again determined to impleme the necessary reforms aimed at renovating the structure of Palestinian governance and couering the challenges of stability in the future of Palestine.
“We will coinue to support Palestinian institutions and guaraee that we fulfill our obligations to secure and stability in the region,” Macron added.
The French presideial office also warned in a stateme that “the annexation of the West Bank is a bright red line.”
AFP also quoted Elysee as saying that four couries, including France, are due to recognize the Palestinian governme at the New York conference on Monday.
