Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al -Sudani, in an interview with Al Jazeera, described the recent Zionist air strike on Qatar as “shocking event and obvious violation of all international law and custom.”
Emphasizing that the move reflects the nature of the “criminal government of Israel”, he added, “The violation of a brother -in -law such as Qatar is a direct threat to the security of the country and all the governments of the region.”
In another part of his remarks, the Iraqi Prime Minister, referring to the necessity of creating a joint cooperation framework among Islamic countries, said: “It is time for a political, security and economic coalition to form between Islamic countries.”
He emphasized that the formation of a joint security force to defend the interests of the Islamic world has no obstacle, and that Islamic countries have tools and capacities that can be used to counter the aggression of the Zionist regime.
Al -Sudani also pointed to the developments of the Gaza Strip: “What has been going on in Gaza for more than two years has been nothing but an organized process of murder and crime.
