Hamas: We did not help foreign authorities to thwart the assassination operation in Qatar – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
A senior security official at the Hamas movement said the movement thwarted the assassination operation in Qatar without any information from foreign authorities, Mehr News Agency quoted the Palestinian Quds News Agency as saying.
He added that the Resistance Homeland Security Organization failed the biggest foreign assassination attempt in the history of the Zionist regime.
The results of the investigation show that the Zionist enemy failed to create any human or technical breach in the security structure, and the assassination operation was thwarted without any previous information from foreign authorities, the Hamas security official said.
He said: Hamas’s negotiating and leadership board is in good health and continues to perform their leadership duties within the framework of strict security measures.
The Zionist regime on Tuesday held Hamas leaders in Doha during a meeting to review US President Donald Trump’s proposal to promote rain talks.
Although the attack did not harm any of the Hamas leaders, a number of Hamas and civilians, including a Qatari citizen, were martyred.
