Turkish Preside Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Iranian Preside Massoud Mediian on the sidelines of the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tianjin, China, according to Mehr News Agency.
According to a stateme issued by the Turkish Presideial Office on the meeting, the two presides discussed Turkish -Iran relations and regional and iernational developmes.
The two sides discussed the latest developmes in Syria, Israeli attacks on Gaza and the peace process in the southern Caucasus (between Azerbaijan and Armenia).
Erdogan emphasized to the doctors that Türkiye -Iran cooperation in many areas, especially energy, serves mutual ierest.
The Turkish preside also emphasized the importance of promoting Iran’s nuclear talks, saying that Ankara would coinue to support Tehran.
